An unidentified pedestrian died Friday night after being struck while crossing old U S 66 near Gallup. Police said the driver, Bill Shott, 19, 504% W. Maloney Ave, was eastbound on the highway when the victim, heading south, attempted to cross. The deceased suffered multiple internal injuries and neck lacerations. No identification was found.
