Truck crashes into mobile home. family survives
Myra Draper and her family awoke at 3:30 a.m. when a 1995 GMC pickup driven by Navajo Nation volunteer Iman Gilbert Ray Honanie lost control and crashed into their rear bedroom. Honanie, 22, faces charges of reckless driving and two counts of endangering the welfare of minors and criminal damage, pleaded not guilty at arraignment and is free pending pretrial. Draper says she is angry and fears for her son's safety in the damaged home.

Man Found Frozen Under North Gallup Bridge
A passer-by found a man frozen face-down under the north Gallup bridge on Jefferson Boulevard after 1 p.m. Friday. Police hoisted the body from the ditch behind Ed Corley’s Dodge, covered it with a sheet, and sent the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque for an autopsy. Authorities see no foul play but await the autopsy to determine death cause.
