The Sha'lak'o is a sacred Zuni rite open to non-Indians with rules. Do not photograph sketch or tape any part of the ceremony. Follow with respectful distance and avoid touching dancers. Only kiva members attend near the Sha'lak'o. Public access is limited to adjoining rooms. liquor drugs and misconduct are forbidden. Visitors should not enter Sha'lak'o houses.
