Will accused killer be tried as a juvenile or an adult
In Gallup, public defenders Buckels and Hood argued to keep Pamela Davis from being treated as an adult for the December 23 2010 killing of Colleen Lincoln. Davis was 17 just shy of 18 at the time and defense witnesses urged the court to consider brain development and impulse control. Co-defendants Marissa Yazzie 17 pleaded guilty and faces sentencing, while Larita Smith 21 awaits trial. The trio allegedly lured Lincoln from a party, beat her, robbed her, and burned her body south of Arnold Street.
