Navajo Code Talkers Day honors veterans at WINDOW ROCK
Hundreds gathered at Veterans Park to honor the Navajo Code Talkers with readings and a wreath. Speakers urged prayers for children in harm’s way as Code Talkers received silver and gold medals and a park statue was saluted with Taps by the Marine Corps Band.
