AP reports the 69th Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial opens Thursday at Red Rock State Park with Native American dance performances an Indian rodeo and an arts and crafts exhibit. Invitations reach as far as North Carolina while the Voladores from Mexico City are not invited this year due to prior problems. Ticket sales run about 10 percent ahead of last year as groups arrive from western Europe and Japan for the event spanning Thursday to Sunday plus a preview night for the exhibit hall which will be closed to the public due to crowding codes.
