Navajo students stage 1868 treaty play at Twin Lakes
Navajo children ages five to thirteen perform Dahyishk id Alana adleehi a Meeting Place Story of Hweeldi in Twin Lakes Elementary gym. The pilot theater project teaches Treaty of 1868 history and Navajo language with Manuelito and Bayboncito roles. Funded by New Mexico Indian Education Act, the free show runs Friday 1 to 10 a.m.
