Wayne Messner Farm Barn Burns In Bowmansville Area
A barn near Center Church south of Bowmansville burned Friday destroying a 40 by 100 foot frame building. Loss estimated 12 000 to 16 000 with coverage by insurance. Tobacco six acres hay and straw, a horse, cow, chickens and tools were lost. Wayne Messner owns the farm. Mrs Messner found the blaze as workers left after finishing tobacco hanging. Terre Hill and Bowmansville fire companies fought the blaze. investigation by state police and fire chief
