Peculiar accident injures New Holland Bottling Works owner
Last Saturday H. F. Seber proprietor of the New Holland Bottling Works was struck on the head by a forty pound stone from a six foot shelf. He cut his scalp, then grew weak unloading ice and has since been bedridden under Dr. J. L. Winters care. Recovery showed slight signs after days of illness.

Ladies Auxiliary Meeting Notes and October Donation Call

On Wednesday V D Kling auctioneer offered Amos Hess mill and farm property in Salisbury township for 10 100. The 48 acre site includes a large grist and flour mill two dwellings a barn and other buildings but was withdrawn from sale.

The Lancaster Conference of the Lutheran Church met at St. John's in Denver over Tuesday and Wednesday with 32 ministers and 24 delegates. Rev. P. Geo Sieger opened with a sermon and officers administered the sacrament. several pastors gave addresses and committees were named for missions and Sunday school work. Next meeting planned for spring at Keller Memorial Church in Shiremanstown, Pa.

Obituary notices of George Seiverling and others in Caernarvon
George Seiverling age 73 died at home Caernarvon township from lip and throat cancer after two years of suffering. He was a longtime member of Evangelical and United Brethren churches. Survived by widow and daughters Ida Frigstadt Dora Younus Alice Horst Carrie Ella. a son and another daughter predeceased him. Funeral at Centre Church with Rev. H. P. Hagner officiating. Also noted Lloyd O. Renninger died at age 4 years 10 months from peritonitis after typhoid fever. Elizabeth A. Hess died at 43 from tuberculosis. Raymond Renninger, 10 months 21 days, died of cholera infantum. Jacob Ruth, 78, died of dropsy and heart disease. Funeral details with local church services and interments listed.

The eastern Lancaster County farmers institute met at Sensenig's Grove near Terre Hill last Saturday. Attendance grew from a slim morning turnout to a strong af ternoon showing with locals and neighbors attending. Exhibits included poultry fowls pigeons and rab bits from Terre Hill and nearby areas along with Brown Swiss and Holstein cattle. Potatoes tobacco and fruits were displayed and the Bowmansville Band provided entertainment with music.
