John H Baldwin Dies After Long Service In Atglen
John H Baldwin age seventy two retired postmaster of Atglen after thirty five years of service died Sunday morning at his Atglen home after a week long heart illness Born in Christiana he was son of the late John and Annie M Wallace Baldwin He served as superintendent of the Atglen Presbyterian Sunday School elder of the church past president of the Atglen Fire Company organizer and director of the Atglen Band He is survived by four grandchildren and a sister Mrs Charles Reill of Upper Darby Funeral services were held from the Wentz Funeral Home Atglen on Wednesday at 2 p m with interment in the Atglen Presbyterian Cemetery.

Officials say the 7th New Holland Farm Show will draw the largest crowd in its 17 year history with expanded premiums and more exhibitors. The event runs October 7 to 9 on New Holland streets featuring parades contests and amusements. Awards exceed 400 for Industrial Commercial and Mummer divisions with about 25 bands in the parade. The three day schedule includes Pet Baby corn husking and 4 H Pig Roundup plus a live pig auction broadcast from Harrisburg.
