Boiler Fire Burns Youth At Franklin Street Creamery
Charles R. Brown age 19 suffered serious burns at 4 30 this morning at the Scott Powell Creamery on Franklin street. He was tending the draft when coal gases exploded, setting his clothing afire. Woman dies in Lancaster County auto crash near Hallam
Mrs. Anna E. Harnish forty four of 646 New Holland avenue Lancaster died when the car she rode in veered off the road near Hallam. Her husband Samuel K. Harnish suffered contusions and shock. Coroner Zech ruled accidental death and absolved the driver. Mrs. Harnish, sister of Clarence Ruess, resided in Lancaster nine years and attended Leacock township schools. Funeral services were held at Groff parlors and Salem Reformed church with interment at Heller's Cemetery.
