A strange dog appeared at Amer Hammond’s home near Red Well and fought Hammond’s dog. The strange dog showed no rabies signs. On day nine the Hammond dog refused to eat and was chained. On day twelve the dog broke loose and rampaged hitting a horse, a Milton Houck mule, and other dogs before Blaine Howe shot it.
Cars will operate today and tomorrow to Terre Hill on the new extension. The first car leaves at 7 30 AM and the last at 5 30 PM. No night service while minor road details finish. no cars run during the following week.
