Farmers Day Exhibit Plans Include Exterior Decor
The Farmers Day Committee advanced plans for the Thirteenth Annual Farmers Day Exhibit on October 5 6 and 7. It approved soliciting business houses for exterior decorations by a Lancaster firm which would place street decor in the farm show area if enough orders come in. Music plans were delegated to committee head P F Esbenshade with ample performances for all three days. A Pet Parade on South Railroad avenue was approved for Saturday at 3 p m after the Soay Box Derby at 2 30 p m sponsored by Jack Martin with prizes for winners. The corn husking feature will occur as usual on the school grounds Saturday night.
