Twenty five years ago the Farmers Institute in Rutland Park drew a large crowd from the eastern county. After afternoon exercises the estate of Amos Rutter sold the amusement park at public sale to Harry Yerk of Salisbury township for 1450 dollars. The park spanned forty two acres.

Mrs. Mary Nolt aged 78 widow of Peter Nolt of near Voganville died at her home after a brief paralytic stroke.
