Interest grew over two markers on James T. Elliott’s grave in the Reform church cemetery a Confederate iron cross and a G A R flag marker. Elliott was friendly with local veterans and his daughter Bertha Hendrixson of Philadelphia recalls a man offered to mark the grave with a Confederate emblem and a G A R marker until a Confederate emblem was obtained.

About 400 former pupils and teachers attended the reunion celebrating 125 years of Hinkletown school. Miss Sallie Stedman, 89, a former teacher, spoke. Samuel S. Wenger, ex Paradise principal and now Temple law student, reviewed the school’s history. The first building dated to 1812 and the current structure to 1878. John S. Kings Daughters Meet Loyal Workers Circle at Home
