State Senator John G. Homsher of Strasburg dies at Lancaster General Hospital at age 79 after a heart attack. A Republican veteran with 30 years in the Legislature, he edited the Strasburg Weekly News and served as president pro tempore in 1925 and 1935. He missed the current special session for health reasons.

Auto Wagon Crash Fatal to Young Son
Clyde Martin six month old son of Mr and Mrs Amos O Martin of Ephrata died at Lancaster General Hospital from injuries when a wagon carrying the family and two brothers was demolished in a collision with an automobile on Route 822 near Bergstrasse church east of Murrell. Aaron Sensenig Bareville driver of the automobile was arrested on involuntary manslaughter charges and posted $1000 bail for a hearing before Justice John Gehr of Hinkle town.
