Funeral Monday at 9 80 from the Lake street home and 10 o clock in First Reformed church. Burial in Bowman's cemetery. Rev Dr M W Schweitzer officiated.

Barton B. Smith of Terre Hill died at Ephrata after suffering acute dilation of the heart while repairing a machine at the Kinport cigar factory picnic in Ephrata park. He was 61 or 62, a Knights of Malta and Patriotic Order Sons of America member, survived by four children, nine grandchildren, and two sisters. Funeral services were held at his home and Trinity United Evangelical church with interment in Terre Hill cemetery.
