Elizabeth Newswanger of near Goodville died from cancer at 49 years 10 months 15 days. Survived by husband Henry and two sons Elias and David. Funeral held from her home then Weaverland services led by Bishop Jonas Martin and Rev. John Kurtz. Undertaker Bowers in charge. Henry Sensenig retired farmer of Martindale died from multiple diseases at 66 years 8 months 26 days. Several children and widow survive. Funeral in Martindale at 8:30 then Weaverland at 10. Undertaker Bowers in charge.

The Second Annual Reunion of the Descendants of Phillip Ranck was held at Indianola Park in Columbus Ohio on August 14 with 140 Rancks from across the United States. David W. Ranck of Farmersville led devotions and delivered an address as officers were elected including F. M. Ranck Sr as president Leah C. Rebstock as vice president M. H. Ranck as secretary and Lewis Ranck Sr as treasurer. The next reunion is planned for next August near Columbus.

Mrs Elizabeth Ranck wife of Geo H Ranck former editor of the Clarion and now editor of the Everett Republican observed her seventieth birthday with a homecoming in Everett.
