Martin Ranck 91 of Bethwille Dies at Home
Martin Ranck 91 the last surviving member of the Jacob and Lucy Ranck family and uncle of Mayor Frank Musser died Sunday afternoon at 4 80 o clock at his nephew Diller Grog home from arteriosclerlerosis. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 80 o'clock at the Lutheran church in New Holland. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. J C Herminger undertaker of this borough was in charge.

Bishop Weaver of Weaverland Dies at Home in Goodville
Funeral services were held for Bishop Noah H Weaver a longtime leader of the Weaverland Mennonite churches. He ordained in 1899 and served as bishop since 1902 guiding congregations from Churchtown to Goodville and Weaverland. Surviving are his wife Barbara Lauder and several children, brothers, and nephews in the ministry.

Former deputy sheriff and constable in Leacock township, P Morris Baby of Intercourse died at St Josephs hospital from complications. He served as constable for ten years and worked with Squire Slack. He led arrests in the Welsh Mountains and held roles as rural mail carrier and school attendance officer. He directed the Lancaster Automobile Association and Intercourse Fire Company and belonged to many lodges. Survived by wife and daughter Evelyn. funeral at his home with interment in Old Leacock cemetery.
