Former New Holland Girl Fatally Hurt in Crash
Mrs. Mabel Shirk Weaver twenty four formerly of this borough died in an auto mobile crash near Syracuse New York Tuesday morning. Her husband H Carl Weaver twenty six of Elmira New York is in serious condition with multiple injuries. The couple married last October and were en route home from the Syracuse fair when their car hit the rear of another vehicle four miles from the fairgrounds. Weaver's firm had an exhibit at the fair.

Approximately $30,000 paid for 60 acres and thirty perches of land at public sale Tuesday afternoon. David Burkholder of New Holland bought the parcel on the Voganville to New Holland Pike road at $491.50 an acre. Levi N.
