Annexation Petition Deferred by Borough Council Action

Borough Council deferred action on a petition for annexation of about sixteen and a half acres east of the borough line and north of the Jackson Street extension. Petitioners are area residents, including nine other properties and a pool, extending east to the road to Greenbank. Other business included road resurfacing, curb work on Fulton Street, a water fluorine content study, and tree trimming for street lights at no cost. Fines and license fees were reported, and four building permits were issued for new residences and an addition on South Brimmer Avenue.

Milton Houck Died At 86 In New Holland

Milton Houck 86 died at his home New Holland R2 on Tuesday evening at 11 10 after a lingering illness.
