Readers report unusually thick ears of corn from Jacob R. Musser in Upper Leacock with lengths up to eleven inches and rows up to twenty two. A white corn ear is even thicker with twenty eight rows. A baptism by immersion occurred Sunday at the Little Conestoga dam near Columbia turnpike.
