Steer Killed in derailed Terre Hill car crash
A car leaving Terre Hill at 6 pm Monday derailed on the Oberholtzer farm line after a steer ran onto the track. The steer died from the collision after being deemed badly hurt. Only three passengers were aboard, none injured, with Conductor John May and Motorman Samuel Steinman in charge.

Terrible accident slows Terre Hill trolley near Bareville
On Monday evening a Terre Hill trolley met a turnout near Bareville. A frightened horse bolted after a whistle, toppling the trotting wagon and breaking shafts. Driver Harlan G. Nolt escaped injury as crews aided in resetting the team. The horse suffered minor harm.

Death of a Well Known Man in New Holland
Nathaniel C. Henninger a long time New Holland undertaker and businessman died after a heart illness. Born January 21 1851 in Paradise township Pa he built a large funeral and furniture business. He served as Justice of the Peace and was active in St Stephen Reformed Church and local organizations. Funeral at St Stephen Church with Masonic rites and interment in Reading.

East End Farmer Drowned in the Conestoga
John Weiler, 36, of near Centre Church, was found drowned in the Conestoga Creek near Terre Hill after departing to set a fishing net. Deputy Coroner I B Becker ruled accidental drowning. Survived by wife, mother, and brothers Moses, Wayne, Harry, Jacob, and Barton. Funeral services planned at 9:30 and 10:30, with interment at Weaverland.
