Dr Kinard treated him and reports no skull fracture, with a hoped for early recovery.

On Friday evening a trolley car led by conductor wm. Zortinan and motorman Amos Mull struck a cow in the western part of the borough. The animal lay under the car, then rose and wandered off as if unharmed.
Notice to the public that the post office address for Amos H. Hensiny, Auctioneer is changed to Gordonville, Bai, Regis No.2 from Intercourge. The public and patrons are advised to use the new address for future notices and business correspondence.

Isaac Steffy a longtime Hast Earl resident and farmer died at his home in Greenbank last Saturday at age eighty three after years of declining health. He was a widower and survived by four children George on the home farm and daughters Mrs Wolfskill Reading Mrs Geo Mahaley near the borough and Mrs Joseph Frank near Greenbank. Funeral services were held Tuesday and interment followed at Renek church cemetery.
Train No. 705 halted with engine disabled Wednesday afternoon near Glen Moore on the Downingtown and Lancaster line. An additional engine supplied power, delaying arrival to about 8:20 p m instead of 6:10. The incident caused about an hour of additional travel time for the conductor Harbison’s train arrival.
On and afters Monday November 10, offices in larger towns are kept open. Postmaster Ranok is cited in the fragmentary note about local postal operations and hours.
A traction engine at John Rutter’s farm near Smyrna in Bart township dashed into a barn after an inexperienced operator pulled the wrong lever. The engine crashed through a bridge and into the barn floor, shattering a separator and farming implements and breaking the barn wall while sparking fire but causing no further trouble.

The fifty first annual Lancaster county teachers institute will meet in Lancaster the week of November 10 at the Y M C A building. Dr N C Sohenffer Dr E Oram Lyte and Leon Prince will deliver addresses. Instructors include And Kinnaman Sherman Davis G L Omynke Miss Julia I Rogers Miss Ida M Strawm and W D Keeny. The evening program features Mrs Isabel G Beecher on Enoch Arden Monday Mrs Maud Booth lectures Tuesday Swedish Studies Concert Company Wednesday Book Booker T Washington lecture Thursday.
A disrupted afternoon halted travel on the Downingtown to Lancaster railway and the New Holland to Ephrata line. An engine breakdown around 2 or 3 PM cut power to the wire feed, causing trains to stop every few hours and run at intervals along the routes.
