Obituaries for Mary Shirk and Phoebe Anna Patterson
Mary Shirk died at Neffs ville Dankard Home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in her 70th year from a yearlong illness. She was a Brethren Church member and survived by brother John S. of Blue Ball. Funeral at Henninger's parlors then Weaverland Church with Rev. Isaac Taylor and Amos Martin officiating. Interment followed. Phoebe Anna Patterson widow of Isaac B. Patterson died Tuesday morning at her home 4065 Rockland Street after a long illness in her fiftieth year. Born in Frederick Maryland she had lived in Lancaster fifteen years and was survived by children Hattie Leora Jacob Elwood Daisy William Earl Phoebe Bertha Alta and Viola plus her mother in New Holland and sister Anna Killinger and brother Theodore Setley. Funeral held from her late home with interment at Woodward Hill cemetery.
