Narrow Escape After Auto Hits Runaway Buggy
Ivan Diller his wife and child were in a buggy when a parked car owned by Dr. Wentz near Benj Mowery’s home caused their horse to bolt. The rig crashed through a fence into a field, injuring Mrs Diller and the child with only scratches and bruises reported. Dr. Wentz rendered medical aid and transported them home.

Young Man Commits Suicide Near Bowmansville
Daniel Kessler, about twenty five, ended his life Tuesday evening at his parents home near Bowmansville using a loaded double barrel shotgun placed to his head. Despondency was suspected but the motive remains unknown. He leaves his parents Mr and Mrs David Kessler and siblings Hiram Adam Shiras Ella Sarah Amanda Margaret and Jane.
