Annual Commencement Acknowledges Complete Success Class of 1912
The class of 1912 graduation program at Hess Hall drew a crowded audience with Thorbahn's Orchestra performing from 7:80 to 8. Miss Anna Mearig presided at the piano. Mohler with themes of selflessness, Wright on Joan of Arc, Brubaker on Our Nation's Destiny, Musselman on no excellence without labor, and remarks by Principal Kraybill.

Death of Ferree G Sheaffer Remains in Sterling
Ferree G Sheaffer longtime Sterling resident dies after two years illness and a Mayo Clinic operation in Rochester ended by cancer complications. He was born in 1855 to John W and Eliza Sheaffer, married to Nancy Bancroft, with no children. Survived by sisters Mrs Silas Green and Mrs Eugene Rundlett and his daughter Clara, with a life marked by honesty industry and loyalty.
