Fall Proves Fatal in Lancaster Window Accident
Mrs Lydia A Bitzer died Tuesday evening from injuries after falling from a second story front window at 1 East Chestnut Lancaster. She had several fractured ribs and a fractured skull, likely from a stroke-caused fall. Survived by son Harvey B Bitzer and two sisters. Funeral held Friday at Harvey Bitzer home and Bergstrasse Church with burial in the same cemetery.

Burned woman taken to Lancaster General Hospital
Mrs Milton Groff of this borough was moved to Lancaster General Hospital after severe burns from a fire several weeks ago. Her condition is said to be somewhat improved and it is not yet known if skin grafting will be required to treat the injured areas.
