Amos Seldomridge Wins Seminary Prize at Lancaster Commencement
At the 118th commencement of the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Church in the United States at Lancaster Amos Seldomridge won the second prize of forty dollars in the Jacob Y Dietz Essay Contest on Jesus Teachings and the New World Order. The first prize went to Edward Lander. Dietz established the prize in 1902 and funded it with a two thousand dollar endowment.

Trolley Bridge Sag over Conestoga at Eden Delays Memorial Day Plans

Mrs Magdalena Hurst Wenger seventy nine widow of George Wenger former Kinzer resident died at 2 30 am Monday from a stroke at Oroville Mennonite Home after nine weeks illness. Born in Franklin County daughter of Isaac and Anna Hurst she belonged to Kinzer Mennonite Church. Survived by two sons William L of California and J Wayne of Manheim a half sister Miss Sadie Hurst of Shippensburg four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral from Oroville Mennonite Home Friday at 1 80 pm with services at Hershey Mennonite Church at 3 pm. Burial in adjoining cemetery.

Lancaster County Council Roy Scouts of America conducted a Camp Training Course at Camp Welshova over a weekend.
