The community this week bade farewell to Adam Sollenberger of New Holland age 18 who died at home after a brief illness. Francis M. Ross, 74, of Cambridge Salisbury township, and Henry D. Brubaker, 67, of Groffdale, along with Mrs. Sara E. Ryan, 86, widow of Samuel Ryan, are also remembered in funeral services and interments at local churches and Graffdale and Pequea Presbyterian cemeteries. Patchwork repairs begin on borough streets this week
Patchwork repairs were started on the main street to fill holes and depressions in preparation for oil and chips. The Conestoga Traction Company began fixing the right of way on Main Street with tarvia and stone. Work is planned for May 17 to 19 and will continue Wednesday through Friday of next week.
