Early Thursday a blaze drove Jacob C Burkholder and his 15 member family from a two story frame house near Farmersville. The father rescued Harold, a three year old, trapped on the second floor before losing all belongings. Fire crews from Ephrata and Akron could not save the dwelling but saved the nearby Mrs. John Weaver home. Origin blamed on defective wiring in the wash house.
