Mrs. Mildred Lewis thirty of Pine Grove Schuylkill county was admitted to Lancaster General hospital at 4 p m Tuesday with lacerations for head and face and burns on the leg after a car driven by her husband Willis Lewis ran off the road near Narvon when a tire blew out. Dr C S Duttenhofer of Churchtown treated her and ordered removal to the hospital.

Second Child Dies in Farmersville Family
Mary Louella Nolt two died at her parents home in Farmersville after an eighteen day illness of pneumonia following scarlet fever and measles. A sister Anna Arlene died weeks earlier of scarlet fever. Survived by parents grandparents and great relatives. Private services to be held Friday with interment at Grafsdale Mennonite Church at 2 p.m.

Jacob Hoar seventy one of 356 East King Street Lancaster died at his home Tuesday morning after a long illness. He was a Bowmansville Evangelical church member and longtime Bareville resident who moved to Lancaster April 1. He survived by three children Mrs A M Buckwalter John E Hartman and Mrs Elizabeth Miller and three sisters Mrs Sara Swope Mrs Laura Gray and Mrs Lydia Beam. About 75 to 100 bushels of corn burned. farm implements and tobacco shed loss noted. no livestock harmed. A second call near Schaeffer’s school house north of New Holland involved Elmer Senseniz’s farm. the house and chicken house saved by pumper and chemical trucks though 200 chicks died and buildings damaged. total loss estimated at $300.
