Miss Rebecca Zook recovered from illness as Conestoga Creek ran high Tuesday.
Mrs Magdalena Buch died last Saturday morning at her home near this borough of general debility age. She was 83 years seven months and thirteen days, widow of Daniel Buch. Survived by daughters Mrs Martin Hoover New Holland Mrs Isaac R Royer Brownstown and Mrs Martin H H Bitzer Lancaster. Funeral Tuesday at 10 am from her home with services by Rev Elina Hershey and Rev Leyt Weaver. Interment at Groffdale.
A Trinity parish Sunday school in the borough prepares for Easter with a program titled The Third Day. The school will render responsive readings chants anthems choruses and more and the pastor will deliver an address. The service is scheduled for Easter Sunday evening April 12.
South Side notes say a euchre party was held at C B Brubaker's residence last week. The report claims neighbors dropped in and the evening passed without any euchre played.
A notice indicates the Ladies Auxiliary meets at Lancaster General Hospital on a Saturday at a regular time during Passion Week. The announcement includes a misspelled name Annie and references the home of Miss for the gathering.

William Houck caught a fifteen pound earpar, Garfield Trostle caught twelve pounds. James Trostle sold his pony for fifty dollars. Ruth Good spent Sunday with Katie Houck and Pearl Frank. Mrs Barbara Trostle and Sarah Mays with Ruth. Hinonah Houck and John Williams visited. Eastern school. Several Houck family exchanges noted.
At a Tuesday evening meeting of the Luther League in Trinity Lutheran Church borough, officers for the next six months were elected. President W. M. Mearig, Vice President C. M. Diller, Secretary Miss Mary Kohler, Treasurer Miss Maria Yunde.
