The Good Roads Association organized at Intercourse to improve roads with Dr Donald McCaskey as temporary chairman. Renno of Kenvnsre North Dakota departed Tuesday to join his wife and daughter and his aging father in law after a three week visit with his parents Mr and Mrs Elias Renno of Intercourse and sisters Mrs John M Beiler of Dry Hill and Mrs R Z Stoltzfus near Intercourse. Renno had spent much time with his seriously ill father who is now recovering slowly. Friends regret his brief farewell and hope for another visit within ten years.

Robbery Hits J. W. Showalter Hardware Store
Robbers pried rear shutters and lifted a window sash to enter the J. W. Showalter hardware shop on Thursday night. They took about six revolvers, cartridges, a gold watch from the safe, some change and other hardware. No clue to the robbers. Edwin B. Renninger discovered the theft at opening.
