William Murray a sixty year old teamster from Nickel Mines in Bart township died after being swept away crossing a swollen run on Abram Buckwalter’s farm south of Vintage. Raymond Stuart survived. Deputy Coroner A AL Eshleman ruled death by drowning during intoxication. Murray was unmarried and well known in the eastern county.
