A farmer, Earl Neidig, attempted to light a dynamite fuse near a stump. He failed to retreat and was blown into pieces in a gruesome accident. Gershwhite, and others, witnessed the blast and the body was collected by an undertaker for burial after a Saturday funeral.

Palm Sunday rites feature Christ’s triumphal entry and sermons on The Believer's Acknowledgment and Sanctification. Nogh Ginder, a 54 year old farmer, died Saturday of internal injuries after a 30 pound locust wood piece from a belt struck his abdomen at a sawmill near his home two miles north of Elizabethtown. He lingered after medical aid from Dr Al S Blough. He is survived by his father, two brothers Pierce and Enos, a sister Mrs Reuben Emenheiser, and his wife who died ten years ago. He was a member of the Mt Pleasant Brethren in Christ church.

Alfred Moyer of Welsh Mountain Mission called on the Graybills. Albert Winey of Intercourse and Ruth visited the Graybills. Maria Kinzer, Mrs Spohn, visited Fanny Welchans in Lancaster. Norman Graybill and son Howard of Bareville spent time with the Graybills. Mrs. Davis Ranch and Misses Anangst and Breneman spent the weekend with the Farras of Coatesville. Roy Piersol hosted the St Stephen Reformed Ladies Bible Class on Friday. Edgar Rife and children Edger Howard Lucilla stayed with the Rife grandparents. Dr Roy Pierson and Dorothy, with Emma Cassel, visited G W Piersol’s Honey Brook home.
On March 10 a Fisher home gathering commemorated Joseph Zook leaving for Dover Delaware to seek a fortune in a new home among new friends and in a new way. Zook, a son in law of Christian Fisher, is an ordained minister.
