Nathaniel Martin died at his home near Goodville on Thursday morning aged 81 from a complication of diseases. Survived by brother John of Indiana and sister Maria of Goodville. Five sons Henry of Churchtown Nathaniel at home John of New Holland Samuel of Voganville and Jonathan of Goodville. Funeral from his home at 12:30 pm with services at Weaverland church at 1:30 pm buried in Weaverland cemetery.

Retirement farmer Solomon Sheaffer dies at 76
Solomon Sheaffer a Bareville resident and former farmer died suddenly Sunday at 6 am from heart failure. He retired after serving as a mail worker in Bareville. He was a Mennonite. Survived by widow Harriet Groff a daughter Minnie and brother John of Ephrata and sister Cassia Sheaffer of Lancaster. Funeral held Wednesday with private service at home and public service at Zelten Teich church burial in adjoining cemetery.
