Henry S Mellinger aged 32 cigarmaker died in Ephrata on Wednesday morning leaving a widow and many siblings. Amny Horst of Bowmansville died of paralysis Tuesday afternoon at 58 with a large family. Harriet Grill near Denver died 78 after five months illness. Isaac Reiter a retired miller died in Reading of heart trouble. Hettie Kreider Kreider of Strasburg died at 66 with many children and siblings. Samuel Zimmerman near Terre Hill died of tuberculosis with later dropsy at 62. Henry Hunsberger of Ephrata died of pneumonia at 69 with several children across multiple towns.

Death in Mill Accident Claims Brecknock Miller
John A. Von Neida of Bowmansville died from gruesome injuries after his clothing caught on a set-screw while inspecting a corn crusher shafting at the Bowmansville mill. He was 51, survived by his wife and six children, and funeral services were held at the Bowmansville Reformed Church.
