A wagon belonging to Amos Good near Lancaster was struck by a car on a Saturday evening. The horse was frightened and bolted, causing the wagon to crash and a wheel to break. Mr. Good stood by the wagon while the incident occurred.

Hiram Griffith Convicted of Counterfeiting in Philadelphia Court
In U S District Court Philadelphia Judge Thompson presided as the Government proved Hiram Griffith guilty of passing counterfeit money. Attorney M G Schaeffer moved for a new trial and Griffith was released on $10,000 bail. Authorities linked him to bogus $10 bills in Ephrata last November and Mohnton arrest, with a defense claim he accepted counterfeit notes from a stranger on a trolley trip.

Elizabethtown Bell Foreman Dies After Pole Collapse
George Snyder, 38, assistant foreman for Bell Telephone in Elizabethtown, died at General Hospital Lancaster from a fall of a pole he was working on. He suffered a fractured skull after being crushed beneath the pole. Philip Groff of East Petersburg was injured with an arm fracture when a cable broke, triggering the pole collapse. Snyder resided with his parents Mr. and Mrs. George B. Snyder.
