EMPLOYEE DEAD Lucian Smith Passes

Lucian Smith, a former Delineator Magazine printer and Clarion office employee, died after a long illness. Born 1843 in Pike County Pennsylvania, he spent years roaming the United States and Canada as a journeyman printer. He was known for quiet humor, charity work, and steady service in the town’s printing office.

James Duffy known as Jimmie dies at 83 in Lancaster

James Duffy known to friends as Jimmie passed away in hospital last Friday at age 83. He was buried at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Lancaster after a period at the Home of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Philadelphia. He came from near neighbors and was remembered for his cheerful greeting Hello My Boy. He was admitted February 27 and died from complications of old age.

Jacob B. Dipner Dies at 50 in Pennsylvania

Jacob B. Dipner died Thursday evening at age 50 after complications. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge of Bant and an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Survived by his wife and children Myrtle Steele Francis Harsh George J Mary A Earl B Dorothy, all at home. Funeral services were held Monday at 1 pm at the house and 2 pm at Paradise Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Notice tobacco farmers. We are prepared to do tobacco at our ware.
