Serious Burned Domestic Worker in Fairfield County
Miss Ruth Groff forty-five domestic in Harvey Boyd family near Fairfield county was burned while near a stove. Her jacket caught fire and flames enveloped her clothing. Warehouse Destroyed by Fire at Soudersburg
A tobacco warehouse owned by George Greider burned Monday evening at Soudersburg. The structure about fifty feet long and three and a half stories high contained 160 cases of 1909 packing and 25 cases from last year plus tobacco. Greider carried $500 insurance on the building. stock insurance undetermined. The fire origin is not known and the loss is expected to be considerable.

Good Sales reports a midweek farm outfit sale at Hast Earl by J J Sensanig drawing a fair crowd. Prices were solid with a herd of thoroughbred and grade Holsteins selling 50 to 75 dollars per head and one horse at 280 dollars. Auctioneering credited to D Kling. The following day A H Groft sold Peter Nelt’s farm outfit near Voganville with fat steers bringing about 7.40 per hundred pounds and horses bringing higher prices.
