She was the daughter of the late Rev William Beates and widow of Rev John S Crumbaugh, former Lancaster High School principal and first pastor of St John Lutheran Church. Survived by son Dr John W Crumbaugh of Wilmington Delaware.

Cyrus Winters died at his home 318 Beaver Street on Sunday morning after about a month with heart disease at age seventy nine. A retired tailor and longtime member of Bethany United Evangélical church he was the youngest of thirteen children and survived by his wife and several children including Mrs Maggie Ben son Mrs Wan Hubert Mrs Emma Barnholt Mrs Hannah Duffy and Arthur L at home. His father John Winters once ran a blacksmith shop in town.
