Elam S. Long of Ephrata died at Lancaster General Hospital at 4 p m on Wednesday after illness from dropsy and heart trouble. He leaves six daughters and one son, including Catherine Hellinger Mabel Cramer Elva Spinner Elizabeth Abel Meta Zimmerman Beulah Wise and Sylvester Long. Surviving siblings include George Long and Mrs Joseph Remley. Funeral from daughter Mrs Mellinger's home Sunday at 1 30 p m with service at Rothsville Lutheran church at 2 30 p m burial in the adjoining cemetery. He was a member of the Ephrata Relief Association.
