Furniture dealer dies after wagon accident near Borough
W Bender a 49 year old furniture dealer and undertaker died after falling from a hay wagon west of the borough. The team ran loose, the wagon struck a fence and toppled. Bender suffered a fractured skull and brain injuries, dying Wednesday morning. He served as borough constable and is survived by wife and seven children. Funeral at 2:30 PM in Lutheran cemetery.
