The newly constructed concrete section of New Holland Pike between Lancaster and Leacock will reopen Saturday at 2 45 PM with band music and speakers. Seventeen year old Charles Bechtold of Leacock drowned while swimming at Pequea Sunday. Deputy coroner Dr. W Giles Hess ruled accidental drowning. Bechtold and six companions were near shore in about twenty feet of water when he latched on to a companion and a second lifeguard effort failed. Bechtold had left home around 1 30 p m while his mother was hospital bound for eye treatment.
