William D Patton Dies After Fall at Home in Wayne
William D Patton of Wayne died at Bryn Mawr Hospital from injuries sustained when he fell while rising from a chair at his home about two weeks ago. He was the son of the late John H and Mary Patton and born in Salisbury township. He is survived by two sisters and a brother Naomi Patton of Lancaster and Lincoln Patton of Slack Water near Millersville and Mrs John G Diek of New Holland. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 30 p m from the Wayne home with further services at Pequea Presbyterian Church north of White Horse. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Blue Ball Man Plans Ten Acre Route 28 Development
Ivan M. Martin of Blue Ball has bought a ten acre tract on the north side of Route 28 at the western end of Blue Ball for a real estate development. A paved street will parallel Route 23 with another street north from Route 23, water lines to be laid by the Blue Ball Water Company, and the Blue Ball Improvement Society to extend street lights. Fire Company Tables Plan for New Hall
