Locals Win Easy Game Over Christiana on Home Diamond
The locals toyed with Christiana last Saturday on the home diamond winning 8 to 4. McClure retired after about four innings while Henderson starred at bat and behind the plate. New Holland led 8 to 0 after four innings with strong defense, Erb and Hagey stealing bases. The crowd enjoyed the play and the club heads to Mt Joy today.

Union Sunday school picnic plans outlined for next Wednesday
The union Sunday school picnic at Rocky Springs outlines transport by three cars from here at 7 80 a. m. and three at 8 30, two cars from Blue Ball at 8 25. A basket car will collect baskets in the boro and Blue Ball then proceed to New Holland to gather unready baskets. Baskets should be left at Smith's store Wright's bakery Diller's store and the tollgate. Tickets 26 cents children ages 6 to 12 and 40 cents for older. Elizabeth Groff widow of Samuel Groff died at her Brimmer avenue home on Friday evening last week from cancer. She was 78 years 4 months 26 days old. A longtime faithful member of St. Stephen Reformed Church. Surviving children include Milton of Lancaster and John E Plank of Philadelphia.
