Carpenter Killed In Elizabethtown Auto Mishap
Jacob O Brubaker a carpenter for Hoffer Brothers died instantly when jolted from the rear of the company’s auto truck on Maytown road a mile southeast of Elizabethtown He was riding a wooden box at the rear when the vehicle hit a break in the road breaking his neck He left three young children and was 35 years old.

Charles Messner a hotel clerk drove an automobile that struck a Laurel and Filbert street trolley at South Prince and Conestoga streets in Lancaster last Friday around 10 30 pm. In the car were Messner C L Houck and Luther Graybill Graybill suffered a deep scalp wound and was treated at General Hospital while Messner and Houck escaped with minor injuries. The auto sustained damage.

Local Man Suffers Severe Fall From Barn Repairs
Jason D Barr of this borough fell Friday afternoon while repairing damage from Thursday storm. A door blew open, he stood on a stepladder, slipped on a tie, and fell injuring himself. He sustained two broken ribs, a deep cut on the right arm, and a gash on the head near the ear. He was carried home and Dr Hendrixson treated him. He remained unable to lie down or move easily through Wednesday and must move cautiously.
