Thomas B Woodward thirty pine died at 6 30 Sunday afternoon at his Beartown home after a four and one half month illness. He belonged to Bridgeville United Evangelical church Brotherhood of P R R Workmen and R R Relief. Survived by parents Mr and Mrs Thomas J Woodward brother Elmer R Maple Glen sister Mary E wife of Geo Devine Beartown. Funeral held Wednesday at 9 30 from home and at Bridgeville A E church at 10 burial in Hopewell cemetery Chester county.

The Liberty borough fire crew answered two calls during the week. The first blaze appeared shortly after 6 00 o clock on the morning of one day in an outhouse at L. M. Storb Sr. residence and the second at Ben Benedict's house in Red Well at 3 15 a m Thursday. Both fires were controlled using chemicals.
