Daniel Weidler of Mechanicsburg aged about seventy six is noted as a devout Zion Lutheran member and longtime sexton and janitor who died at his home in Mechanicsburg early Monday. He leaves a wife and ten children including B F and Geo M of Mechanicsburg plus Lizzie Leola Emma Catharine Sadie and Lottie among others. Interment was at Zion Lutheran cemetery Mechanicsburg. Dr James A Levengood of Honey Brook township Chester county died after a lingering illness at seventy five. A widely known physician in Chester and Lancaster counties he practiced half a century and became blind five years ago. He served as a township official and school director. He is survived by four sons William of Coatesville J C of Laugharne Pa Lacey D and John Henry of New York.

West Earl Wagon Maker Balmer Dies in Oregon Visit
Christine Balmier of Balmerstown and Christian Balmer of West Earl township report the sudden death of a wagon maker in his seventy first year while visiting Oregon. He fell ill at Miller's hotel during dinner and died shortly after outside for air. He leaves several children and was interred at Carpenter's Church West Earl after services at Mellinger Meeting House.

Narrow Escape From a Serious Automobile Incident
Dr Ulrich of South Bethlehem visiting family in Ephrata travelled with Miss Mary Weaver on the New Holland pike. Passersby warned of a wheel coming off and the Doctor halted just in time as the wheel nearly detached from the spindle. Narrow escape from lightning shocks a Pennsylvania lineman
